Our Commitment

Dorsey Family Dental is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to achieve these goals.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) (opens in new tab) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Dorsey Family Dental is fully conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.

  • W3C CSS Validation — CSS validated as CSS Level 3 + SVG with zero errors

  • Mobile responsive testing — viewport testing at 375px, 768px, and 1440px breakpoints
  • Reduced motion testing — verified all animations disable correctly under prefers-reduced-motion: reduce
  • Color contrast verification — all color pairs checked against WCAG 4.5:1 and 3:1 thresholds

Known Limitations

While we strive for full conformance, the following third-party content may have limitations outside our direct control:

  • Google Maps embed — The interactive map on our Contact page is provided by Google. Keyboard navigation within the map may have limitations. A text address and phone number are always provided as alternatives.
  • Cherry Payment Plans — The "Apply with Cherry" link opens an external website operated by Cherry Technologies. That website's accessibility is the responsibility of Cherry Technologies.
